Hello, my name is Chuck Gonzalez and I'd like to thank you for visiting my web site. I got started in motorsports photography in 1991. Back then, I did primarily asphalt racing. It was not until 1995, when I went to my first dirt track race at Santa Fe Speedway, in Hinsdale Illinois and became a big fan. During the next few years my passion for photography and dirt racing grew. In 1997 I was given an opportunity to become track photographer at Kankakee Speedway and LaSalle Speedway for the Izzo family. In addition to my weekly track responsibilities, I started traveling throughout the Midwest photographing many of Dirt Late Model racings special events.
In order to maintain a more open schedule for special event coverage and project assignment, I have decreased my weekly track responsibilities. I continue to be the track photographer for Illiana Motor Speedway in Schererville Indiana. Going back to the Illiana asphalt in 2003 has been a great experience. I truly enjoy taking photos on dirt and on asphalt.
My photography has been published in many national and regional motorsports
publications. Here is a list of the publications I've been fortunate to be
associated with: Dirt Late Model, Stock Car Racing, Circle Track, Speedway Illustrated, Muddslinger, National Dirt Digest, Behind the Wheel, Midwest Racing News, and many others.
During the past few years I've added digital imprinting to enhance my photography business. This gives my customers more choices for gifts and collectibles.
